Individualized training sessions take place either in your residence or a designated area, ensuring focused attention for you and your dog. In certain cases, a nearby park, shopping area, or store may be utilized to introduce your dog to external distractions.
Each training program is tailored to address specific behaviors and concerns reported by the owner and identified during sessions. Recognizing the uniqueness of each dog, techniques will be formulated and applied according to your dog's temperament and your capacity to maintain them consistently. GROUP TRAINING
This isn't your usual group class; it's a chance to collaborate with a professional trainer while acclimating your pup to other dogs and people. Contrary to a playgroup or social gathering, dogs will be kept leashed and under the control of their owners/handlers at all times.
In an outdoor setting rife with natural distractions and environmental obstacles, you'll bolster your confidence in leading your dog through a range of advanced training exercises. These include honing recall skills, mastering place work, achieving loose leash walking, navigating pass-bys, engaging in field exercises, executing down commands, participating in class pack walks, and more. Strategies for managing reactivity will be explored and implemented as needed. Additionally, dogs will be taught to accept handling from others.
*Prerequisite - Your dog will undergo an evaluation before joining a group class. This ensures that group sessions are suitable for your dog.
This course caters to individuals at various stages of the training process, from beginners to advanced participants. There's valuable learning and improvement opportunities for everyone.
Learn the art of instilling leash awareness in your dog, refining your handling techniques, mastering the dynamics of drives (including pack, prey, and defense), and initiating your dog into pack walking. Participants and their dogs will be equipped with effective loose leash strategies.
